Hi my name is Garry im from Boston lincolnshire uk i now live in perth Austraila i came here
in 1974 with my mum,dad they are still in perth has well so are two brothers i have one brother in the uk, since
i have been over here i have met a wonderful lady they call her sandra ,i have three children ,i love soccer cricket i do
a lot of refereeing in five aside in the week down at a palace called yhe OASIS its a lesisure centre its in the suburb called
Belmont its about 20 kms from were i live and im goint to start coaching kids down there girls and boys its a great sport
to be in as you can see i support Manchester United i started supporting them from when i was about 4 years old i can remember
when we all watched Man Utd in the 1968 ERO cup we still had black and white tv then we watched it in the back of our Dads
and uncle Barrys shop it was against Benfica Man Utd ending up winners the game has change since then i know the times mus
go on but it was great in the 60s,70s,80s even some of the 90s when there was players like Bobby Charlton ,George Best and
plays from other teams such as Peter Osgood Chelsea,Billy Bremner Leeds United thats just some of the players a ,and
there is a game that stands out in my mind its the team in the town were i was born they call them Boston United they
were playing Derby County from the first division and Boston wern in the Northern Premier Division we played them at the Basball
ground and we draw the first game the ground was like a mud heap i remember one shot that should have crossed the line
but it just stuck in the mud a any way we took them back to Boston it was a pack house at our ground york street nearly every
one took the day off and Boston did us proud we ended going down 6,1 Memories they are still there and they always will
